Job Title: Database Administrator with strong DBA, DataStax

Position Type: Contract

Location- Remote

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Looking for DataStax Database Administrator with strong DBA experience to handle complex multi-cluster NoSql Database environments.

· As a Datastax Database Administrator, you will be required to study the current system/process/design flow and document findings and solutions.

· This role will require the ability to improve data-centric infrastructure on the cloud arena.

· The individual will have a strong knowledge of design and experience working in a business-critical cloud NoSQL Database.

· The individual will have a strong knowledge of design and experience working in business-critical applications.

· This position requires excellent client service and technical skills.

· Job Responsibilities

· The DataStax administrator role involves setting up the cluster, optimization of the read and write data, copying data from other file systems Use technical knowledge to identify areas to improve.

· Provide flexible solutions to complex business problems using our technology practices.

· Collaborate closely with developers to implement requirements and provide necessary guidance.

· Database backup and restore. Handling missing critical DB scenario.

· Required Skills

· 8+ Years of experience in handling NoSQL database

· Deep understanding of DataStax or Cassandra

· The DataStax administrator role involves setting up the cluster, optimization of the read and write data, copying data from other file systems.

· Maintenance of DataStax No SQL Database

· Experience with Backup and restore/Recover strategies.

· Strong SQL experience

· Certification of DataStax would be added advantage.

· Experience in an AWS environment.

· Technical Skills

· Required Qualification

· Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or related field.

· A minimum of 8+ years of experience as DBA.
