Commercial Truck Driver, loads and delivers products to customers on a scheduled route, provides positive customer interactions. Ability to push, pull and lift up to 100 lbs. Product unloaded and delivered by hand truck /dolly type equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,100.00 per week. Plus up to a $500 Performance based Monthly Bonus.

Responsibility

· Safely load and unload vehicle with specified products for delivery (hands on)

· Safely deliver products ordered by customers in a timely manner

· Collect payment from COD or NCND delivery accounts

· Maintain records and logs related to deliveries and vehicle maintenance

· Obtain appropriate signatures to verify receipt of items delivered and completing all required paperwork.

· Accept returns from customer, completing appropriate paperwork and return to warehouse. Place product in return area with appropriate documentation.

· Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations

· Maintain all DOT physicals & drug screens required to maintain CDL

· Operate assigned vehicle safely and efficiently.

· Perform pre-safety checks and inspections of assigned vehicle

· Perform routine maintenance & servicing of vehicle. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle

· Report any maintenance problems, major repairs, service needs, incidents or accidents to supervisor and/or other proper authorities

· Inform supervisor of outstanding issues.

· Perform as back-up for other route drivers

· Other duties as assigned

Qualification

· CDL A or B License (at least 2 years)

· Minimum 2-years of truck driving experience of a 16 ft. or longer straight truck

· Clean Motor Vehicle Record/driving record

· Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card

· Must have a valid driver’s license (no “major moving violations” in accordance with applicable state law)

· Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws

· Strong verbal communication skills

· High school diploma (or equivalent)

· Must be a team player and able to work well with minimum supervision

· Knowledge of safe work practices.

· Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to organize and manage time

· Ability to work in a warehouse environment in all types of weather

· Ability to drive throughout assigned route in all kinds of weather and road conditions safely

· Ability to work safely within tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Must be able to work Saturdays. Sundays and one other day during the week off.

· Ability to work flexible hours preferred
