Dental office in North Aurora IL, seeking a Full-time/Part time [ with Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday availability ] Dental Assistant
Looking for a full time dental assistant for an established practice in a beautiful location in North Aurora. Looking for an outgoing, vibrant, and friendly dental assistant to come on board with established dentists. We are seeking a positive, happy, motivated and intelligent professional team player with excellent Assisting and communication skills, with an ability to multi-task and who is ready to learn and work hard. Excellent growth potential. Paid time off and possible health insurance after review at 3 months of employment. Will be willing to train the assistant in different aspects of dentistry focusing on oral surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics and clear aligner therapy. This is a full-time position with great opportunity for someone who is looking for growth and long term employment. Please provide resume with references.
Full Time dental assistant Requirements include:
- Dental office experience required
- Must be comfortable talking to people all day
- Must have a friendly and outgoing personality and a professional demeanor
- Must be available evenings and atleast two Saturdays a month
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Cross trained with x-rays, sterilization, and setting up rooms
- Must be proficient with the computer [ will be trained at Open Dental software ]
Responsibilities include but not limited to * Review treatment plans * Assist the doctor in all procedures * Clean and sterilize rooms and equipment after each patient. * Take digital x-rays and photographs,, Ordering/ Inventory control, Maintain all Dental Equipment , operate the dental software .

Office Hours: (with flexibility to stay late for patient care when needed)
- Monday: 9am - 6pm
- Tuesday: 9am-6pm
- Wednesday: 9am - 6pm
- Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 9am - 6pm
- Saturday: 9am to 3 pm (Two Saturday per month)

The Dental Assistant supports the clinical treatment care of patients. Other functions include sustaining patient comfort, managing supplies, listening to patients’ needs and educating them on dental procedures, working efficiently to maintain doctor’s schedule and adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures. The Dental Assistant will also organize and maintain lab equipment, take and develop x-rays and provide comprehensive post-op dental procedures to patients. The ideal Dental Assistant candidate should possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology, a friendly, outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills.
Dental assisting school certificate, bilungual in spanish is a plus but not a necessity.
