Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Sterilize instruments and equipment
• Communicate with patients and provide education on oral hygiene and dental procedures
• Perform basic lab tasks, such as taking impressions and pouring models
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental assistant certification or previous dental experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Willingness to learn and grow as a dental assistant
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
