The R&D division of GRAITEC is a diverse, multicultural environment, with a wide range of experienced professionals, with strong technical / interpersonal skills and a dedication to excellence. Overview
Activity of the team
- Organizing, planning and coordinating the activity specific to the development department including training and mentoring
- Establishing and allocating tasks to the members of the technical department;
- Prioritizing within the project, communicating with other departments involved and ensuring the flow of information
- Leading the activity of his department, monitoring the status of ongoing projects and reporting regularly to the direct manager on the progress of projects, results, performance, quality and compliance with deadlines;
- Ensuring compliance with the regulations, procedures and methodological norms by the department and team members;
- Management of team in accordance with the project planning, as well as for their correct allocation to the project activities;
- Evaluates the performance of the team members he leads;
Ongoing projects and software
- Manage project progress and adapt work as required
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that meet business requirements and goals.
- Ensure clear and structured programming, keeping performance, maintenance and compatibility requirements in mind
- Ensure projects meet deadlines · Meets programming, documentation, and testing standards and conventions;
- Is preoccupied with ensuring the best possible quality of implementations;
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve software development efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promptly solves the problems that arise in the area of competence;
- Writes specifications for the development of computer programs and describes the architecture of the developed component;
- Submits technical reports for developments or for other topics of interest for ongoing projects;
- Makes proposals for software research and development topics;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in managing software development teams and delivering software projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a track record of successfully leading teams in Agile development environments.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring developers and creating a high-performing team culture.
- Experience with project management tools and software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience in leading technical architecture and design discussions, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong technical background and ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
