Job description
Wise May are looking for a Digital Content Manager to join a friendly finance company based in the City.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing a content and campaign framework and associated high-level messaging, partnering with identified internal stakeholders
- Developing the Content Marketing strategy for brand awareness, new business growth and client advocacy
- Produce and manage creative briefs, working cross functionally to gather the information needed to optimise associated asset creation, performance and measurement
- Help match industry trends, audience and content with content vehicles e.g. video, podcasts, white papers, infographics etc.
- Work with internal stakeholders on how to create multiple content pieces to support topics and reuse over various different channels
- Collaborate with agencies and graphic designers to build asset visuals and interactive assets
- Manage content lifecycle workflow for assigned content types form creation through approvals, editing, publishing/activation, measurement, curation and maintenance
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to contribute to search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives’ with keyword prioritisation based on input from key stakeholders
- Define and report on content metrics using a combination of Web analytic, marketing automation, content management and social media management tools
- Make recommendations for optimising content processes and activation channel choices based on analysis

Map how, where and what content plays a role in the buyer and customer journey using engagement data
Person Specification:
- 5-7 years’ proven experience
- Excellent organizing skills
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Knowledge of current online marketing techniques and best practices
- Responds to challenges with innovation and creativity
- Demonstrates high energy levels, thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of financial markets, energy & commodities preferable
