What you will be doing

As a Digital Product Manager on the Omnichannel and Store of the Future team, you will work on products that unlock new value to our customers and make their journeys with us easier, informational, and more fun.

In this role, you will be a catalyst for transformation and innovation. The ideal candidate will be interested in re-imagining the grocery experience by harnessing the power of digital technologies. You will work closely with the Omnichannel and Store of the Future leadership team to execute the product roadmap for the team. You will develop product concepts utilizing market research, generating product requirements, implementation plans, and provide internal communication support to keep cross functional teams aware of the pilot(s) / product progress. This role is very cross-functional, so you must be comfortable working with various teams within the company.

The position will be based in Pleasanton, California, Dallas, Texas or Boise, Idaho with some additional travel expected.

Main responsibilities

  • Ability to take a concept from ideation to reality; Partner with Senior Product Manager and other stakeholders to utilize consumer insights to develop product vision, identify capabilities aligned to company strategy and go-to market plans. Ability to effectively communicate and create alignment with stakeholders.
  • Create, maintain and communicate product roadmap including near-term delivery /releases and 1-2 year product evolution.
  • Work directly and indirectly with vendors and third parties to ensure execution of deliverables.
  • Create requirements and future enhancements roadmap to support plans to meet OKRs, deliver differentiated personalized experiences, and increase engagement.
  • Identify areas that require customer research and propose research activities to direct supervisor and user experience team. Partners with user experience team to user-test designs through mock-ups, functional prototypes, etc. to ensure they are meeting intended goals.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to assess scope and technical solutions.
  • Create and manage a product backlog of user stories for UX/Design and IT/Engineering Partner with QA (Quality Assurance) teams to ensure the deployment of high-quality feature enhancements.
  • Work with Jira/Confluence to manage product roadmaps, project tracking, success criteria and requirements.
  • Develop outcome driven product strategy.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional planning.
  • Work with analytics to develop financial ROI models that will determine product features, rollout and target customer.

The salary range is $110,800 to $155,080.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ability to create thoughtful and concise executive communication.
  • Experience leading individual team meetings with cross-functional stakeholders and reporting back management with status updates, risks, and progress
  • Agile / SAFe Certification

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, marketing, or management
  • 3-5 years of product management experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, product launch and iteration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong Mobile App experience
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to engage stakeholders, cross functional teams and engineering.
  • Proven ability to proactively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with A/B testing and leading pilot tests with active measurement of KPIs/OKRs
  • Experience presenting concepts/ideas to senior management for feedback and approval.
  • Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems in food, grocery and/or technology industries.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent Jira and Confluence expertise
  • Travel requirements: Up to 25%
