Delivery Dispatcher
Speedy Weedy is a licensed medical marijuana (MMJ) dispensary in Vista, CA and we are searching for a Dispatcher to join our team. We are seeking talented individuals who want to help us make a difference in this industry and have a professional demeanor for an upscale, “boutique-style” dispensary. Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills and experience within the cannabis industry, or as an alternative, a strong background in hospitality, retail merchandising, or management outside the industry. Job Description:
The position of Delivery Dispatcher is responsible for checking in new and existing patients per the City of Vista and State of California requirements, answering phones, creating patient profiles, and generally assisting where needed. Our Delivery Dispatcher/Receptionist is the first to greet our patients and begin a positive experience, so a friendly, upbeat, and welcoming personality is essential.
Requirements:
- Excellent and pleasant customer service skills with the ability to greet customers.
- Excellent telephone skills
- Must be highly organized
- Must be proficient with computers
- Ability to effectively navigate Microsoft Office programs
- Competent filing ability
- A high degree of initiative and self-motivation
- Know about social media (Weedmaps and Leafly a plus)
- Ensure you are on time for every shift
- Excellent Communication skills
- Attention to Detail
- Multi-task Oriented
- Stress Management/Composure
- Ensure you and your uniform/clothing are clean and professional
- Must submit and pass a Department of Criminal Justice criminal background check (LiveScan)
- Have a valid California ID
Hours and Availability:
7–8-hour shifts between the hours of 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM. A Dispatcher is expected to work five shifts per week. A Dispatcher must be available on weekends, weekdays, evenings, and holidays.
