Twin Angels is looking for direct care professional to join our strong team. Our Adult Day Training Program is located in Palmetto and our Residential Group Home is located in Bradenton. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, energetic, and reliable.
Direct Support Professional duties and responsibilities
Direct Support Professionals work with individuals with mental or developmental disabilities by following behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals and doing laundry. Additional duties may include:
- Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including bathing and dressing
- Completing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes and tidying
- Helping plan client appointments and organize a schedule
- Organizing with transportation arrangements to appointments
- Preparing meals that meet specific client dietary needs
- Encouraging client engagement in social networks and communities
Adult Day Training Program:
Instructions/Direct Support Professional
Monday - Friday 8:30 - 3:30
Transporters/Drivers:
Monday - Friday
6:30am - 9:30am and 2:30pm - 6:00pm
Residential Group Home Available Hours:
Friday: 7pm - 7am and Saturday & Sunday: 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am
Residential Group Home Live In Position:
Monday-Friday 11pm – 7am and 24 Hour Shift Every other weekend
Qualifications:
*Must have a high school diploma
*Pass a Level ll background screening
*Have at least 1 year experience working with kids, elderly, or special needs population
* Take all required Training
