Fabspeed Motorsport is seeking a skilled E-Commerce Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining websites, web applications, and e-commerce platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying our websites from layout to function, as strategized with the Marketing Team. Car enthusiasts are a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code using web development best practices
- Build and maintain websites, e-commerce platforms, and web applications
- Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality
- Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and security
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing websites and applications
- Conduct quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment
- Provide ongoing support for existing websites and applications
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with content management systems such as BigCommerce
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
