ECOMMERCE STORE SPECIALIST
The E-Commerce Store Specialist is responsible for improving the quality level of product being listed online. They will act as the core resource in a store for evaluation of product. In addition, they will create, photograph, list and transfer all products selected for eCommerce within their designated store. The eCommerce Store Specialist (Agent) will be a partner to the store manager and support 80% of the eCommerce effort in stores. They will provide training to store staff on product evaluation and pricing for both eCommerce and stores. The eCommerce Store Specialist reports directly to the Ecommerce Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and streamline the evaluation process and technique.
- Source high value donations from the donation stream.
- Partner with and train the stores donations and production teams to identify and evaluate product for eCommerce and stores.
- Manifest/Create, photograph, list and transfer products for e-Commerce.
- Record and document metrics including production numbers and daily goals.
- Must be able to meet daily goals of identifying high value products and deadlines.
- Uses computer, mobile device, books and online sources to research value and authenticity of items.
- Evaluate, research, prep, and price products.
- Photograph product, edit images, and provide images for online marketplaces.
- Communicate with customer service department for customer inquiries.
- Communicate with eCommerce team for consistency, ongoing training and productivity.
- Act as liaison between stores and ecommerce
- Focus on quality control procedures to ensure that every item is described correctly.
- Describe and title product accurately with keywords.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Travel as necessary (10%)
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years in product evaluation in Art, Collectible, Fashion and Electronics,
- Understanding of e-commerce listing software and tools a plus
- Photography background would be a plus
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period

- Extensive product knowledge in a particular category
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence and partner/collaborate with others. Must be highly collaborative and open to multiple perspectives
- Possess a professional demeanor, poise under pressure with strong attention to detail, and well-developed time management skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds
- Sense of urgency and responsibility for accomplishing daily goals.
- Proficiency with, and ability to conduct, intermediate tasks within Microsoft Office Suite applications and various cloud-based office applications
- Ability to utilize self-learning systems
- Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than one’s own, able to work effectively with all
- Excellent in-person, phone, and electronic-based interpersonal skills
