Hitachi Energy is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for its Crystal Springs, Mississippi location. This role is responsible for performing a variety of complex engineering assignments requiring in-depth knowledge of a specific engineering discipline plus an understanding of related disciplines to cost effectively achieve objectives. Assignments typically require the use of advanced and innovative techniques. Proactively seek and implement initiatives to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular distribution or power transformer design per customer's specification by using Hitachi Energy design tools. Prepare documentation for other departments like mechanical department, purchasing, sales, manufacture, test, etc. Order materials for the transformer production. Follow-up on manufacturing of approved designs and customer service. Plan, conduct, coordinate and develop recommendations using advanced engineering concepts and processes. Analyze new proposals, requirements, specifications, and products.
