Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer is a self-starter that innovates, develops, and improves Sharp consumer appliances. Collaborates with a wide variety of stakeholders to understand and translate product performance requirements into engineering specifications Develops project schedules, meets agency compliance, tests prototypes, and executes product launch programs with the entire Sharp team.

Responsibilities:
- Control panel and circuit design and troubleshooting.
- Product testing, evaluation, and component specification verification.
- Wire harness, terminal, power management and control design.
- Compliance review.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Four (4) years of experience, or equivalent.
- 2D design capability.
- Comfortable with hands-on activity, laboratory testing and utilization of lab tools.
- Prefer experience developing consumer products and strong understanding of electrical part and electronics systems design.
