ELECTRICAL TEST ENGINEER IN REDMOND, WA

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position works in a lab environment on new innovative products for the consumer electronics space. You will work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. Someone who loves to be hands-on with an analytical and inquisitive mind would work well in this position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSEE, BSME, or BSCS required
  • 3+ years of professional hands-on electro-mechanical or mechanical test experience
  • Understanding of fundamental circuits like filters, inductor coil power transfer, transmission line
  • Knowledge of power delivery and has done PMIC characterization
  • Experience using lab equipment like scope, bench power supply, etc.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required between locations
  • Must possess valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working on COEX and desense
  • Familiar with I2C communication
  • Knowledge of verification and validation testing
  • Experience in creating, executing, analyzing, and reporting on hardware testing
  • Experience in embedded system testing, communication protocols
  • Industrial-level working knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, PCBA, flex circuit, etc.
  • Experience in board design, system bring-up, and validation
  • Experience using lab equipment and soldering components down to 0201/01005
  • Knowledge of power management I.C.s such as PMIC, BUCKs, and LDOs
  • Familiar with Android O.S. and ADB commands (using C++ or ability to write test scripts using Python a plus)
  • Experience with MCAD/ECAD exchange for PCBAs/FPCs
  • Worked on wireless charging technologies (QI and fuel cell)
  • Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a bonus

Salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may very based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $75,000 - $150,000
