Electronics Modernization Project Manager

The Electronics Modernization Project Manager will oversee the digitalization and automation development life cycle of products and services in SLB’s electronics domain. The Electronics Modernization Project Manager will identify digital automation opportunities and manage the full development lifecycle from early requirement capture to system modeling, physical design, and prototyping. The Electronics Modernization Project Manager will work with software developers to build, validate, and deploy these applications to the electrical design and sustaining teams globally.
He/She reports to the Electronics Lifecycle Digitalization CPE Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Project initialization, including but not limited to requirements definition, budget forecast, resources identification, risk analysis
  • Project execution; once project greenlight by the Lifecycle Digitalization Manager, execute the project per plan and revise plan as appropriate
  • Project deliveries per plan, Proof of concept, Minimum viable product, production release, decommissioning.
  • Driving autonomously the software and data team, internal /external resources
  • Working with stakeholders (customers, end-users, domain expert, management)
  • Documentation as per project management methodology
Experience & Exposures:
  • 10+ years of significant experience in Electronics domain (Eng development and/or Mfg of electronics)
  • Strong Project Management experience, with significant experience in software development projects
  • Programming language knowledge (e.g. Python, Fortran, C++,Java, HTML/CSS, …)
  • Data science knowledge appreciated
  • Lean Six Sigma certification appreciated
  • MSc in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
