Employment Specialist
Job description
Provide Community Employment services including job development, assessments, resume development, job coaching skills and all related employment training (especially with computers) and follow along with services necessary to maintain employment for clients with disabilities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have minimum intermediate computer skills and internet searchability.
The schedule is M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm however flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends occasionally as needed. Will include various work environments in the community.
Minimum, Associates Degree in a related field and one to three years related experience or (5 years exact job development experience and/or certification in career/employment can be substituted). Experience in business/industry preferred and/or vocational rehabilitation of adults.
Valid clean NYS Driver's License required.
