A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Leading SPC Implementation Program – developing overall program plan, identify and mitigate risks, program organization and tracking approach.
- Identifying and documenting SPC implementation project requirements for cross functional team
- Manage and report on SPC Capital, Expense and Savings portfolio for multiple sites.
- Deploy and promote SPC culture on sites in scope.
- Develop and implement the SPC KPI and tracking system across manufacturing.
- Develop a plan with key stakeholders to improve manufacturing processes to deliver savings targets.
- Apply a system-based approach for improving SPC, for sustained site continuous improvement after the project is complete.
- Coaching and developing individuals and team on planning and managing for SPC improvement.
- Ensuring organization follows KPI standards for SPC and RTY measurement and reporting
- Developing OEE improvement plans with stakeholders for individual lines and processes
- Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
- Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Development of scope of work, project plans, schedules, budgets, or guidelines for your projects.
- Lead project implementation from assessment through to procedure production release including equipment installation and validation activities.
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience leading large projects in Operations/ manufacturing plants.
- New software and or digitization (upper management or global digital dashboard implementation) project management.
- Six sigma/ Lean Sigma green belt or BB/MBB
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrate teamwork and have a strong internal/external customer focus.
- Negotiation and influence management skills.
- Experience in Identifying risks and implementing risk mitigations into project plans
- Must be able to work independently, be self-motivating, and act as a change agent.
- Program and Project Management to plan, organize and deliver results with key stakeholders and teams.
- Use data analytics to drive decision making.
- Develop and implement the SPC KPI and tracking system across manufacturing
- Drive positive results under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Experience working in a medical device/ regulated / FDA environment.
- Experience deploying culture change.
- Leading Global SPC Program – developing overall program plan, organization and tracking approach.
- Ensuring organization follows KPI standard for measurement and reporting SPC.
- Experience with project schedule recovery planning and execution
- Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
- Identifies, develops, and evaluates resource needs for project execution
- Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
- Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems / problem solving
- Knowledge on Statistical Process Control (SPC)

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
