Job description
Job Purpose: Design and deploy the Data Strategies in support of the company's strategic direction for the success of business operations. Accountable for the high quality and on time delivery of data strategies and architecture approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming
- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions
- Optimize new and current database systems
- Design and support logical and physical data models
- Monitor and improve Enterprise Data Quality
- Plan and coordinate database server consolidation, license restructuring and cost optimization
- Monitor and tune performance, administration, and security
- Deliver supporting end-to-end source to hub mapping and transformation logic for all data movements
- Additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 8+ years of experience in Database related development
- 5+ Years of experience in Data Management and Data Architecture
- Prior experience with the Data Governance process and tools (preferably with ERwin EDGE)
- TOGAF certified is a plus, but not mandatory
- Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with ETL process
- Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Prior experience with Customer Data Platform or similar Data Strategy is a plus
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
