We’re looking for a Equipment Inventory Clerk. The work location for this position is Denver, Colorado, and is considered a fully on-site role.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Equipment Manager, this role is ideal for someone ‘hands-on’, who enjoys working with customers, and who has an eagle eye for detail.
In this role you’ll:
  • Be the first point of contact for customer questions and issues related to the heavy equipment inventory.
  • Administer shipping & receiving documents related to the movement of the equipment to and from the auction site, and enter related information into the appropriate software systems.
  • Accurately identify equipment serial numbers, record basic equipment descriptions and label the equipment correctly.
  • Promote a culture where the health and safety of our employees and customers is top priority for all.
  • Provide assistance as required to the rest of the Detailed Equipment Inspection (DEI) Team.
  • Assist the Sales team with appraisals and write-ups in the field between peak periods, as required.
  • Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.
Here’s what you bring:
  • 1 to 2+ years of Administrative Support experience
  • High school graduate. Any post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Knowledge of - or the desire to learn about - construction equipment and trucks.
  • Proficient with computers and good working knowledge / experience using MS Office Suite products (e.g. Word, Excel). Documentation processing experience is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • You must be process-oriented and comfortable adhering to company policies and procedures to be successful in this role.
  • Strong customer service orientation. You have a natural ease dealing with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills. You’re the type that leaves no detail unattended.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented and self-directed, and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively. You thrive working as part of a team and pitch-in wherever needed.
  • You like to work hard but still have fun on the job.
This job will require you to:
  • Work both indoors and outdoors year-round and climb on and off large equipment and trucks.
  • Have a valid, clean driver’s license.
  • Work regular overtime, including weekend hours. You can expect to work extra hours prior to each sale, during each sale, and after each sale.
  • Travel to other auction sites.

The base hourly range for this role is $17.13 - $25.67. Individual compensation packages are based on a few factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
