Job description

Pauley Equipment Rental is looking for an Equipment Associate to perform a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operation in the equipment yard. Your primary objective will be to provide assistance to rental staff, sales staff and other branch personnel in regards to meeting the needs of customers.

We are a family-owned company that has been in Southern California for over 35 years! We have 3 stores located in Escondido, Vista and Temecula. Our rental inventory features new equipment for everyone such as homeowners & contractors. We are the only authorized Kubota dealer in San Diego.

Additional duties include the following:

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working order
• Clean all equipment and maintain a clean work area
• Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers as well as drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment
• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skills
• Diligent attention to safety
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
