Executive Chef - Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach

Fins up! Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary experience of South Florida’s newest resort scheduled to open Fall of 2023.

We are looking for a culinary enthusiast who is a self-starter and strategic business leader to lead and elevate the Culinary Experience and Team at Margaritaville FMB. The ideal executive chef will have a strong passion for excellence in delivering high-quality food. This individual will be called upon to create new recipes and lead the charge on delivering attentive service to guests while directing their kitchen staff. This position reports to the Food & Beverage Director of Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach.

• Excel in high-energy, engaging, team-based environment with effective leadership, communication, and training skills
• Experience in building strong kitchen teams and creating a positive kitchen culture
• Adaptable to change – can solve problems through an open-minded and all-inclusive approach
• Knowledge of special diets/ allergies (preferred)
• Experience in creating and delivering quality a la carte and banquet/event menus and dishes

Essential Job Expectations:

• Lead, train, develop, and inspire the culinary team
• Elevate the culinary experience by focusing on food quality, expanding variety, improving consistency, throughout the venues, and upholding presentation/ brand standards
• Create edgy and innovative new menu items based on current food trends and events
• Manage financial cost controls and culinary operations
• Build magic moments and maintain positive guest experiences
