Expeditors


Reports to: General Manager/Chef/Managers/Supervisors

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time available

Experience: Previous Food Expeditor Experience Preferred


Primary Responsibilities:


Arrive at work on time and in proper uniform, prepared to execute exceptional shifts.


  • Exemplify AHGs Mission and Core Values in every interaction, every shift
  • Perform the daily functions for Expo position as required, inspecting and approving all plates, food corrections, plate finishing and accompaniments, securing food runners, communication between Front and Back of House, managing hot and cold windows simultaneously, managing To-Go food, maintaining floor cleanliness, taking care of guest requests, restaurant set up, restaurant closing, and daily cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Performs additional daily duties including, but not limited to, proper disposal of debris, restocking wares and condiments/sides, ensuring safety and sanitation standards per Health department requirements, follows procedures for 100 percent recipe adherence. Follows steps of service as listed in Expo Training Manual.
  • Performs proper procedures for responsible Food service, maintains product quality for all station ingredients, for example, fresh garnishes, chilled products, etc.


Further Responsibilities

Maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout shift.

Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework.

Work with a sense of urgency.

Monitor ticket times and works with Team Members to ensure guests requests are honored in a timely fashion.

Possess the ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Know and utilize table numbers and seat positions.

Ensure plates are appropriate temperature (hot food, hot plate; cold food, cold plate).

Maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure environment at all times.

Notify Manager of all guest complaints.

Aptitude for multi-tasking

Communication and organizational skills

Must be able listen attentively to server and kitchen requests

Attention to detail


Physical Requirements


Ability to transport and carry objects (such as stock and food trays) up to 25 pounds.

Agility to wipe down work area and pick up any debris off the floor in all areas of the restaurant.

Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to8 hours in length.
