Immediate opening for a full time "A-Level" auto technician / mechanic with solid work experience. We are a small used car lot that sells both Domestic and Foreign vehicles. Our company has been in business for over 10 years with continued steady growth.

We repair every system of a vehicle such as ABS/traction control, A/C, steering and suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, etc. We are looking for a knowledgeable, responsible mechanic to establish a long term partnership with.

We're located off of Highway 124 in Lithonia, GA near Stonecrest Mall.

Pay:

* Flat Rate

* Payroll Every Friday

*We are open to discussion on the pay scale depending on experience, ability, speed, accuracy, and tools owned.

* We also have a part time weekend position available

Job Description:

* Knowledge of electrical diagnostics and automotive repairs on all makes and models (epecially european)

* You must provide your own basic tools, however we do provide use of more specialized shop equipment

* Ability to do air conditioning service and repairs

* Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs

* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

* Able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmissions, air conditioning, etc

* Completes service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correct, to pass quality inspections set forth by dealership and manufacture quality standards

* Communicate directly with service advisor and foreman regarding the status of the service work

* Continuously learn new technical information and techniques

* Working knowledge of diagnostic equipment

* Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.

* To be able to follow installation instructions and manuals to install and repair equipment and vehicles.

* Must be Teachable and Coachable

* Keep inventory in place and ready to sell

Experience:

* Minimum 5 years of automotive repair and diagnostic "ON THE JOB" experience

* ASE certifications are a plus!
