Job Title: Leakage Engineer – Water Utilities

Location: Somerset

Hours: 40 per week

Contract Type: Permanent Full-Time

RPS Group is an international environmental consultancy employing over 5,000 people worldwide and a key player in Water Leakage Management. Here at RPS, we have a fantastic opportunity for a number of Trainee Leakage Engineers to join our team across Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire, working on our Wessex Water contract.

The role will involve the detection, location and reporting of visible and hidden leaks from Wessex Water’s distribution network. As such, you will be issued with traditional and electronic leak detection equipment to enable you to successfully fulfil the role. This is truly a great opportunity for an individual to develop their skills and experience with one of the UK’s leading Environmental Consultancies.

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine).
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • English & Maths GCSE.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends and overtime if required.
  • Good hearing.
  • Able to work alone and within a team.
