Experienced Geotechnical Lab Technician

Ripple Effect Consulting has an immediate opening for an experienced (3+ years) Concrete, Soils, Aggregate, Asphalt Laboratory Technician in Denver, CO.

Experience in laboratory testing for soils, concrete, aggregate and/or asphalt, along with certification in ACI Lab Strength, NICET, is desired.

QUALIFICIATIONS

• ACI, ASTM, AASHTO, NICET, Caltrans laboratory testing experience and current certifications.
• 3+ years of Geotechnical Lab experience testing soils, concrete, asphalt and aggregates in a lab setting
• Excellent mathematical, computer, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Must have a current valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly as part of the daily duties.
• Must have a clean Background Check, Driving Record and be open to taking a Pre-Employment Drug Test
• Knowledge regarding the standard laboratory test methods including: Proctors, Sieves, Durability's, Cleanness, Sand Equivalent, Atterberg Limits, UC, UU, Console, Expansion index, Asphalt Extraction, Theoretical Maximum Specific Gravity, Sampling, and splitting of samples and more.

DETAILS

• Hours: Monday-Friday (40-45 hours a week)
• Pay: $28-$35/hr (or more depending on experience and certifications)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
