The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Weight Operations Tech Analyst to support initiatives within Weight operations. This position is located in Seattle or Everett, Washington.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops complex inventory equipment lists, conducts inventory for weighs, weighs aircraft, determines center of gravity of aircraft and documents results.
- Prepares Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual.
- Balances flight control surfaces. Calculates/adjusts weight requirements to balance flight control surfaces following repair and/or repaint.
- Develops flight load planning and directs airplane loading of variable load elements.
- Inspects aircraft to calculate effects of actual weight and location of variable load elements on airplane gross weight and center of gravity and prepares flight manifests for pilot's signatures and flight release.
- Weighs and documents actual weight and center of gravity of components and assemblies.
- Resolves complex issues with equipment, components and weighing systems.
- Works under general direction.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Associates degree or higher
- 3 + years of experience developing and maintaining weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems/tools and generating weight and balance reports?
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience working in a Weight and Balance analysis position
- 5+ years of manifesting and loading airplanes
- Air Force Loadmaster or Airline Weight and Balance qualification
- Coding skills to develop applications for automation
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor +1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range:
Experienced: $66,450 – $88,550
