Job Title: Export Order Picker/Packer

GENERAL RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Work with supervisor and Monroe facility management to ensure production goals are met.
• Comply with all Monroe policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Pull and pack orders per international schedule shipment provided by customer service daily.
• Consolidate all orders sent by EDC to accompany Ludwig order products for direct shipment all over the world.
• Compute required weights and dimensions for each export box.
• Determine each order’s required specific classification based on type of export (air or ocean).
• Label orders using computer and label printer to produce proper bar code for shipment.
• Constant contact with export scheduler to maintain timely shipments according to requirements.
• Contact trucking lines for container pick-up.
• Prepare paperwork using the computer and label printer for container.
• Back-up to Domestic Order Picker/Packer.
• Load and unload container/trucks using forklift.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or facility management.

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read, follow directions, and good communication skills.
• Computer skills are a must.
• Forklift experience is a must.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Continuous walking or standing on concrete floors.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. on occasion.
• Requires frequent climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Work is performed primarily in-doors.
