Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Facilities Project Manager. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.
Summary
Assist with planning and implementation of tasks and projects related to new construction, expansions, remodels, equipment, or any other activities that directly or indirectly affect the facilities of BSI globally. Performs a variety of functions, leads and directs the work of others during project implementation. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in performing project planning and execution. This position works closely with all levels including management and senior administration.
Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager leads assigned projects, coordinates vendors, project teams and internal resources and is responsible for one or more large and/or complex projects.
- Coordinate and manage projects and their associated documentation; utilizes project management practices and procedures
- Facilitate project teams, tracks project-related tasks and resources, and regularly communicates project status with key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project documentation consistent with Project Management standards, including but not limited to: project charter/justification, project budget, detailed project plan, project status reports, risk management and communication plans, and project summary/closeout documentation.
- Facilitate the transition of assigned projects to ongoing support, working with the Plant Operations Team to ensure that necessary support and training documentation is available after project completion.
- Participate in presentations, provides timely updates, and communicates regularly on projects to Project Sponsors, management, and project teams.
- Develop schedules and manage construction, expansions, remodels, equipment or any other activities that directly or indirectly affect the facilities of BSI globally.
- Monitor project budgets and communicate issues as needed.
- Develop initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and remove non-value-added activities.
Credentials and Education
Bachelors’ degree, chemical engineering field recommended, PMP preferred
Construction/facilities project management experience required
PMIS experience required; i.e. MS Project, SharePoint, O365, etc.
Equivalent combination of education and related experience.
