FedEx Ground Driver - INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR (ISP) OF FEDEX

Immediate opening for qualified FedEx Ground delivery drivers.

Monday thru Friday and on Saturday's and Sunday’s during the peak time (mid-November-December)

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Pay weekly: $750 to $800

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING OR APPLICATION WILL BE DENIED!

Requirements:

· Requires a minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience in a truck that is a minimum of 24 feet or similar size vehicle to a FedEx delivery van in length or box truck.

· CDL is NOT required. Please include the vehicle descriptions you have driven in your resume over the last three years.

· Clean driving record required

· Ability to lift up to 150lbs when required.

· No traffic citations in the last 36 months.

· No citation for speed over 80 mph.

· No more than one at-fault accident in the last three years. This cannot be a rollover accident.

· Requires High School Diploma or equivalent

· Must be able to pass DOT physical, drug test and criminal background check.

· Please do not apply if you cannot pass a background check.

o No misdemeanor/felony convictions

o Must have valid driver's license in the state were residing

o Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Job Summary

The Parcel Delivery Route Driver's primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of FedEx Ground packages, in support of sub-contractor. contract with FedEx Ground & Home Delivery. Maintaining client satisfaction and adherence to safety regulations.

Working Environment

Able to meet deadlines and attendance standards.
Able to work early morning, daytime and evenings hours.
Able to drive during early and late hours and in adverse conditions.
Ability to work On-Call or as needed.
