Our US Food division is based in Sacramento, CA. and we are always looking for passionate individuals to join our organization. For this position we are specifically looking for an experienced Field Service Supervisor, who will be working a hybrid schedule; 50% remote out of home office or office base; 50% travel domestically/internationally.
As a Field Service Supervisor, you'll be part of a global service team and will report to the Regional Service Manager. With "Safety first" mindset throughout the daily work both at company and our customer sites.
You Will:
- Successfully lead and drive a multi-country service team to achieve goals for customer satisfaction, revenue, and control of cost.
- Research and analyze field reports & maintenance checklists to resolve pending issues efficiently and accurately.
- Perform quarterly MBOs and annual reviews for service team.
- Provide technical support and perform field service activities including commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, and maintenance of automation equipment.
- Work on intelligent and pioneering technologies.
- Collaborate with customers remotely & on-site and provide consultancy that help customers to achieve highest performance and reduce food waste.
- Provide solutions to long-term and repetitive technical, commercial, and engineering problems.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 7 years of supervisor and leadership experience required; Background in field service/engineering is a plus!
- Working knowledge of basic analog and digital circuits, electrical power circuits, PLC circuits.
- Ability to read schematics.
- Technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.
- You love to relate to customers, their views, and issues, locally and in other countries and cultures.
- You are intrigued by travelling at least 50% of the time, and with a high degree of flexibility.
Physical Abilities & Requirements:
- Must be able to drive without restrictions and for long distances.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, or stand, and lift up to 80 pounds.
- Must be able to travel domestically, and internationally as needed, 50% or more of the time.
- Must be able to work from home or office base.
- Must be able to work in Food Processing plants, farms, high/low temperature facilities and in confined spaces.
- Must not have major food allergies that would impede job requirements.
- Must be able to distinguish between the full range of colors on the color spectrum.
