Job description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS:
- Travel to customer sites throughout the United States and internationally to install, commission, test, calibrate and, train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV Rolligon products.
- Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems.
- Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate and maintain the system .
- Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.
- Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned
JOB ANALYSIS:
- College or Technical School Degree and/or related on-the-job experience preferred
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems preferred
- Electrical background preferred
- Experience in heavy industry or the oil and gas environment preferred
- Possess superb customer service skills and an ability to diagnose and solve problems
- Possess professional, clear, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and maintain a positive reputation.
- Unrestricted ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
Training required
- Additional training for job functioning will be addressed by the Field Service Supervisor.
