What will I be doing?
As Accounts Assistant, you will fully support the Accounts function within the Finance department through the development and processing of accurate reports and account management. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

- The Blue Boar Pub, opened May 2021, which is a contemporary take on a British pub
- The Hedgerow, the hotel's first cocktail bar, which takes inspiration from the beauty of the traditional British countryside
- The Pem, a glamourous and elegant restaurant in the center of the hotel showcasing classic British cuisine using modern techniques
- The Orchard, for afternoon teas and lighter meals
What will I be doing?
As Accounts Assistant, you will fully support the Accounts function within the Finance department through the development and processing of accurate reports and account management. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:
- Preparing and processing supplier payments in People soft System, including commission invoices ensuring they all are correctly coded
- Attaching the correct documentation to invoices and reconciling purchase orders to invoices received. This includes all invoices i.e. food & beverage, Miscellaneous and commissions
- Checking that PO's have been good received in Birch Street system before processing the invoices
- Updating PO log and Manual Payments log
- Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Preparing AP monthly accruals and present to Finance Manager for checking
- Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures
- Investigating and resolving outstanding creditor items
- Hotel cashiering, completion of banking which takes approximately 1 day per week
- Supporting the Team on the daily run of the office
- To carry out additional tasks as instructed by the Finance Manager and /or Cluster Finance Director
What are we looking for?
An Accounts Assistant serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors , skills, and values that follow:
- Previous experience in a high volume ( +500 invoices weekly in average) Accounts function in Hospitality
- Working in hotels previously would be advantageous
- Computer literate, with good MS Excel skills
- Good time management and organization skills
- High-level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers
