About the role
CBRE is seeking a Financial Analyst for its San Francisco Agency Brokerage Team (office leasing and sales) operations. We are looking for a hard-working, high-energy, motivated, dedicated, personable, and detail-oriented individual.
What you’ll do
- Financial Analysis/NPV Analyses: Work with Brokers to analyze various proposals using discounted cash flow analysis (bid/ask), etc.
- Leasing & Marketing Support: Assist Brokers with leasing and marketing support, including: lease proposals, leasing reports, producing marketing reports, working with the Graphic Designers, taking pictures of buildings, etc.
- Pitches and Presentations: Assist Brokers in producing new business Pitches and Presentations including: Landlord clients/prospects, Tenant clients/prospects, etc.
- Surveys: Work with Brokers to produce property surveys.
- Market Research: Work with the Research Department on behalf of the Brokers to produce high quality research and market analysis - Performs other related duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to co-workers.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business related field. Some prior related work experience preferred but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and finance management.
Requires knowledge of basic financial terms, concepts and accounting principles.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information and the ability to accurately explain/report activity in verbal and written communications. Requires intermediate analytical skills.
Digital literacy, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong work ethic and adaptable.
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Responsible for setting own project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Financial Analyst position is $84,100 annually [or $40.43 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Financial Analyst position is $87,700 annually [or $42.16 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
