CommuniCare is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support our corporate goals by gathering, organizing, and reporting relevant data.

Purpose/belief statement:

Financial Analysis support is an important function within the organization. The Financial Analyst manages internal and external reporting and analysis for CommuniCare Midwest Division. This role will focus on labor analysis, financial analysis, and operational analysis.

Job duties & responsibilities:

• Develop and create reports based on functional area needs.
• Ensure timely monthly reporting package completion, and distribution.
• Create and review reports, analyze variances, and distribute to management.
• Assist leadership with collecting support and tracking during various audits.
• Fast paced environment, ability to prioritize and shift focus when competing priorities emerge – ability to adapt and work on multiple projects at the same time.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to create clear and concise reporting – operational knowledge of data to ensure validity
• Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Excellent Excel skills are required
• Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Healthcare is a plus but not required.
