Responsibilities and Duties
- General control and accounting oversight for market transactions
- B/S review and analysis at the account level to ensure the financials are following local and US GAAP requirements
- Lead the audits during year end and statutory audits for individual country statutory audits
- Perform detailed reviews of the accounting treatment of various transaction types
- Supervise compliance with management policies
- Liaising and working with internal SOX control team
- Manage the process for the preparation of Statutory Accounts
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key Business and Finance partners
- Preparation of quarterly balance sheet review packs and subsequent review with Director
- Ability to interpret complex contractual terms to excel modeling to validate supplier payment analysis
- Oversight of local and remote staff, including those located internationally
- Team and client advocate who seeks win/win solutions
Qualifications and Skills
- 5 years related accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field required
- CPA and/or MBA Preferred.
- Experience in dealing with/managing year end & statutory audits
- Experience leading both accounting and operational teams
- Prior experience with complex account reconciliations and automation of processes
- Ownership of monthly and quarterly close processes
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment and exhibit flexibility and the ability to work with various personalities
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Late hours and weekends may be required during peak times such as monthly/quarterly close, year-end or during audits
- Experience tailoring, and summarizing information based on audience: Financial & Non-financial audience, Staff to Senior Management

Location
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
