Currently seeking Fire Alarm Service Technician
This position requires the ability to test, maintain, service, repair, and replace fire sprinkler products, and support inspections of fire sprinkler systems for customers per nationally recognized and local codes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Technician to perform service and repairs and small TI’s/Installations on Fire Alarm systems including systems tied into Sprinkler systems (Wet, Pre-action, Dry, and Special Hazards)
  • Service, troubleshoot a variety of fire Alarm systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and submittal specifications
  • Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a professional manner
  • Participation in an on-call rotation
  • Help out/Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance, RME, NICET licensing a plus, not required
  • Assist in professionally resolving disagreements that arise between the customer and the company
  • Accountable for controlling costs and maintaining quality control on all assigned task
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Understanding of basic Fire alarm codes using NFPA 70E and NFPA 72
  • Other Licenses will be considered for an increased Rate of Pay
  • CSA/NICET Certifications a plus
  • Fire Alarm Programming Experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • 5-10 years of experience with fire sprinklers installation, service, and inspections
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills Basic PC Skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to forty (40) pounds
  • Must be able to work on lifts and ladders
