The Cape Club of Sharon is a private country club just off routes 1 & 27 in Sharon Massachusetts. Offering an 18-hole championship golf course, 4 clay tennis courts, Olympic size swimming pool, private function hall, and expansive membership Grille Room & Patio with the addition of a brand new terrace for three season dining, all serving a membership of about 350 families.

Currently The Cape Club of Sharon is looking to add a Food & Beverage Supervisor to the F&B team for the upcoming golf season. This position is paid hourly and is seasonal, running until Thanksgiving. This position will be eligible for overtime during our busy season. This position’s primary roll will function in the Grille Room, but will be asked to assist with member functions and golf events, outside golf tournaments & private events. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for service and hospitality. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the F&B managers to ensure member satisfaction

- Develop a professional relationship with the membership and learn to anticipate their needs

- May be required to work early mornings or late nights

- Conduct end of shift reports and ensure all staff is finishing side work before punching out

- Ensure proper service is delivered by all bartenders, servers, food runners, bussers, & hosts

- Must have the ability to learn to add/subtract buttons in POS system

- Assist F&B Managers in the design and execution of seasonal food & cocktail menus

- Help F&B Managers with scheduling & liquor ordering

- Assist with end of month inventory

- Attend weekly F&B meetings and be able to give constructive feed back

- May need to conduct daily pre meal with chef and team in the absence of F&B director or manager

- Must be comfortable being on your feet for long hours at a time and be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Professional dress and demeanor

- Must have reliable transportation

Qualifications:

- Associates degree or 2 years’ experience in hospitality

- Golf Course/Country Club experience a plus

- POS Experience a plus

- JONAS POS Experience a plus

- Microsoft Office experience required

- Driver’s license required to drive golf carts

- Must be personable and outgoing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
