POSITION: Food Service Director/ GM

LOCATION: Brooks Rehabilitation, Jacksonville FL (Bartram Campus)

DIVISION: Healthcare

SALARY: 65-75K Based on Experience

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in our Healthcare Division in a busy clinical setting and requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. This is a STUNNING new 90 bed facility with oversite including Patient Food Services, Retail Cafe, Operations front and back of house.

The Food Service Director/ GM has an overall responsibility of food service. He/She institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; overseas the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The General Manager reports to Client Administration and The District Manager.

Requirements:

  • 3+Plus Years in a Food Service Manager role (front and back)
  • 3+ Plus Years in Hospital Food Service Management role
  • Impeccable Communication Skills
  • Engaging, energetic and motivating
  • Thorough knowledge of Menu implementation with stunning presentation ideas
  • Culinary or Hospitality Degree a strong plus
