The H T Hackney Co. is a privately-owned, broad-line convenience store distributor who has served customers for over 130 years and is looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to work within our Sales Team as a Food Service Specialist in the Middle TN area.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify and assist with customer needs by problem solving and collaborating with their fellow food service team members.

Duties and Responsibilities

Food Service Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

• Create and develop customer menus
• Sell and promote foodservice solutions
• Hands on training with customer owners and employees
• Create kitchen layouts and store design
• Participate in monthly internal sales meetings
• Interact with customers to ensure their needs are met

Qualifications

Recommended Qualifications include:

• Experience in a related role/industry
• Ability to work productively within team and remote environments
• High level time management & organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Comfortable in a client facing role
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Drivers License
• Demonstrated safe driving history
• Pass pre-employment drug screen & physical
• Must be 18+ for consideration
