RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and serves food for students in the cafeteria as assigned.
• Stocks assigned workstation with utensils, condiments, and related food items for specific meal service period.
• Prepares, packages, portions, and arranges food according to guidelines.
• Handles food in accordance with sanitary regulations
• Performs assigned cleaning duties according to department policies and procedures.
• Cleans and maintains service area including counters, tables, and equipment.
• Washes pots, pans, trays, kitchen utensils
• May utilize department equipment, according to operating guidelines, in the performance of duties.
• Performs related duties as required
• Excellent interpersonal skills as well as ability to work well with students
• Good organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with students and other staff members
• Minimum of 4 hours daily.
• High School diploma
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Full fingerprint clearance through NYSED OSPRA

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.66 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
