The Bodleian Libraries is looking for an enthusiastic individual interested in delivering exemplary customer service to join our dedicated Front of House team. As a Visitor Host you will work with a diverse range of people from varied backgrounds, delivering a world class service for every visitor.
Putting customer service first, you will strive to give visitors a memorable experience. You will pride yourself on delivering engaging and informative guided tours to a diverse audience whilst also proactively promoting and selling the Bodleian’s range of public offers.
You will have experience of working under pressure in a customer focused environment. You will also have clear communication skills with an ability to relate to visitors of all ages and nationalities.
This role involves working to a daily staffing schedule where you will be required to move around the different service point positions, walk groups around the site on guided tours and lift and move lightweight equipment.
This is a part-time, permanent position. You will be working to a 2-week rota, working 16.75 hours one week, 11 hours the next. This will involve regular weekend working.
