Rick Herns Productions is an award-winning event production company providing creative and logistical services for corporate events and private parties.

We are in need of an experienced full charge bookkeeper. The office uses Quickbooks Desktop and a combination of paper and paperless processes. The position requires one day, weekly, in the office, and one day working from home. There is the possibility of this position being expanded to full time, with the addition of office management responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

• Management of accounts payable and receivable.

• Oversight of all General Ledger data entry and reconciliation for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank, Credit and Loan accounts.

• Fixed Asset inventory valuations for CPA to use on tax filing schedules.

• Bi-weekly Payroll journal entries from payroll company as well as COGS adjustment entries.

• Oversee Employee Benefit offers and participation tracking.

• Work with CPA to finalize financial information for tax filing.

• Annual generation of 1099 (MISC and NEC ) forms and filings.

• Workers Compensation insurance audit data submission, and Liability insurance audit data submission.

• Generation of interim financial reports Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash position reports, as needed.

• Client and Vendor relations, as needed.

• Job costing review for generation of commission reports for sales and production staff;

Qualified Candidate has:

• 5 years cost accounting experience for small businesses

• Expertise in Quickbooks desktop versions

• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft OS and Google and excellence with spreadsheet and word processing in each environment

• Enthusiasm for working in a fast paced, lively and creative environment. . .

Pay: $50.00 per hour
