We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to engage fans with charisma and energy while supporting live presentation pre-game, in-game, and post-game elements that will improve fan experiences, retain ticket holders, and fulfill partner objectives.
This role is Part Time, Season timeframe - April 2023 through September 2023.
Job Summary:
Suns Legacy Partners includes several companies and many different departments that support the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and Footprint Center.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Game Crew with the Live Presentation Department. This position will be responsible for assisting in making Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury home games an exciting and engaging experience for fans and guests. The Game Crew will engage fans with charisma and energy while supporting live presentation pre-game, in-game, and post-game elements that will improve fan experiences, retain ticket holders, and fulfill partner objectives.
What Will You Do:
Pre-game
- Assist with game set up including props, t-shirts, signs, flags, prizing etc.
- Assist with set up of entertainer green rooms including props, catering, costumes, etc.
- Greet, escort, and support any outside performers including halftime, National Anthem, DJ’s, primetime performances, and other special guests
- Set up and organize guest performer green rooms including food and beverage, and other hospitality items
- Select contestants for in-game promotions/events as needed
- Assist with Pavilion and Plaza activations as needed
- Assist with additional stage management tasks
In-game
- Execute select in-game promotions including t-shirt tosses, upper-level activation, fan giveaways, on-court presentations, and halftime entertainment
- Assist during time-outs as needed, both stage management and fan engagement including hype signs and crowd interaction
Post-game
- Assist with all team clean-up
- Ensure props and supplies are put away and organized
- Participate in post-game debrief
- Available for select post-game events
What We Need From Our Game Crew:
- Available to work a minimum of 8 hours per home game, arriving four hours before tip-off and departing approximately an hour after each game
- Expected to attend all home games, select Footprint Center events and appearances
- Must be a minimum age of 18
- Flexibility with an often-evolving schedule of events, appearances, and games including weekends, evenings, some holidays, and some overtime to meet business needs
- Professionalism and maturity in handling confidential matters and high-profile guests
- Outgoing personality with ability to direct and command attention from large groups of people
- Serve as an ambassador for the company, comfortable with one-on-one fan interaction and engagement
- Ability to multi-task effectively and work under extremely tight deadlines and high-stress situations
- Desire to gain experience in live entertainment, both behind and in front of the camera
- Desire to learn about the business operations of a professional team, with the opportunity to gain exposure to other departments within the company
Experience/ Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Fundamental knowledge or experience in live presentation, sports, and entertainment
- At least 2 years of experience as a stage manager for a live sporting event (preferred)

- Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, some holidays and some overtime to meet business needs. Must be available to attend all Suns and Mercury home games
- Must be comfortable working in large crowds. Noise levels in the work environment are frequently loud
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are more than those for Light Work
- Ability to communicate and hear via two-way radio is imperative
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
