Position Overview
The After School Gamesroom Coordinator will be responsible for supervising up to 25 kids from 2-6 pm M-F while providing a structured, organized, and fun experience using personal knowledge and BGCA registered programs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement local and national BGC programs with the assistance of the program director.
- Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment, supervising members in program area.
- Ensure inclusivity and FUN.
- Assist with daily activities
- Record participation numbers for all programs/activities facilitated.
- Take pride in work and appearance, both personal and of the Club and program areas
- Ensure space, equipment and supplies are cleaned and ready before programs begin, cleaned throughout the day and at the conclusion of each day that everything is organized and well-maintained
Skills and Knowledge Required
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Washington State Driver's License
- Ability and desire to work with youth ages 6-18 in a variety of environments, including small group and large group settings
