Job Summary
The GL Accountant II supports the Accounting Manager, Director of Finance and/or CFO with a wide variety of functions which include preparing basic financial statements, account reconciliations, transactional processing, and basic financial analysis. Serves as a key resource for the organization and provides daily financial oversight to ensure that the financial records are complete, accurate and comply with generally accepted accounting principles, policies and regulations, and to facilitate solid decision support.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, a high school diploma and an additional five (5) years of accounting experience required.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience in a nonprofit setting required.
• Grant management and compliance experience preferred.
• Experience with Abila accounting software preferred.
