Job Description
Olympus’ Global Talent Acquisition function provides strategic and operational direction to attracting the right talent across the global enterprise. As part of the larger global transformation into a leading Medtech organization, Global Talent Acquisition plays a key role in harmonizing, standardizing and supporting improvement initiatives to enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience. Global TA team is part of a growing Global Organizational Development team, focused on delivering a best-in-class employee experience, drive DE&I initiatives, and offer learning and career opportunities for all 30,000 employees at Olympus. Reporting to the Director, Global Talent Acquisition, the Global Talent Acquisition Partner- Projects will be responsible for managing cross-regional large division hiring projects, building recruiting strategies, coordinating with regional TA and HR colleagues to update, consult, and align with business leaders. To be successful, you will need to be well-organized, driven to problem solve, while culturally aware of different communication styles. This position will be responsible for aligning efforts to support business leaders’ vision, timeline, and hiring needs while providing feedback setting expectations and requirements for Talent Acquisition to deliver on those goals. This role is expected to be customer-focused, building a trusting relationship with business leaders and hiring managers, manage strategic vendor relationships, collaborate, and partner across regional and global functions. Developing tools, reports, and templates to create visibility, effectiveness and accountability across regions will be another critical task of the role. Given the global scope of the hiring, the ability to interface effectively with remote team members and work independently is essential. Being willing and able to have schedule flexibility for early morning or late evening calls with colleagues in APAC and EMEA is essential for success.
Job Duties
Be the central TA point of contact for large hiring surges, primarily focused on a particular function or business unit.
Collaborate, understand regional and local recruitment and HR challenges with global hiring efforts.
- Develop effective strategies and tools to support and report on global hiring initiatives.
Identify opportunities of improvement for global harmonization efforts for Talent Acquisition.
Represent Global Talent Acquisition as business partners offering support, consultation, and direction to attract the best talent while delivering a positive candidate experience.
Communicates effectively across the global enterprises on business and TA expectations, being conscious of different cultures, language abilities, and regulations.
Balance agility and unity with our hiring manager while also keeping to our commitments to Diversity and Inclusion, compliance, regulations, and best practices.
Other responsibilities to support Global Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or equivalent knowledge.
Minimum 5 years recruitment experience required.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Usage of applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools and platforms is required Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Quality, Engineering, or Compliance recruitment preferred.
Experience in either of the following industries is preferred: medtech/biotech/life sciences/pharma preferred.
Proven record of managing larger scale hiring projects.
Comfortable monitoring key metrics and making data driven decisions in respect to adjusting recruitment or sourcing strategies.
Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills
