COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP AND STUDENT ENGAGEMENT ANALYST
Green Dot Public Schools’ Growth team, led by the Chief Growth Officer, works in partnership with regional teams and districts to serve students across the nation. As we expand our impact, we are seeking a Community Partnership and Student Engagement Analyst to support this work. This role will have three primary areas of focus: lead the community, family, and student engagement efforts in a new region; codify, implement, and refine best practices relating to partnerships and engagement; and support the Managing Director of Operations and the Growth team with related projects as needed to ensure the successful launch of new regions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Community Engagement
Create and lead strategies to gather parent and community input, such as neighborhood meetings and one-on-one conversations, which enable families to learn about Green Dot
Work collaboratively with national and regional teams to support enrollment efforts via phone banking, attending and hosting community meetings, and other related strategies
Develop and execute plans for long-term engagement of communities
Identify and build relationships with community partners
Increasingly engage and provide value to Green Dot parents, support the execution of parent programs to help Green Dot parents engage in their student’s education
Research and Codification:
Identify and codify Green Dot’s existing best practices in community partnership development and family and student engagement
Manage, develop, and implement systems that optimize operational efficiency and quality
Support schools with tools, data, and other resources to implement best practices
Track and evaluate progress on school-level recruitment and engagement goals
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment with a strong background in community outreach, social services, and/or school operations
Initiative, humility, sense of humor, and rock-solid commitment to Green Dot’s mission and the communities we serve
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills through written and verbal means to connect with community partners, school leaders and staff, and students and families
Hardworking, motivated, and self-directed; able to think critically and anticipate needs
Ability to develop and implement internal systems and processes to increase effectiveness
Collaborative team player who excels at working as part of a cross-functional team
Comfort with ambiguity; adaptable to a constantly changing environment
Flexibility to adjust working time to non-traditional hours (i.e. evenings and weekends) to accomplish goals and meet the availability of parents and families as needed
Spanish language fluency required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Reliable transportation required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,983.00 - $73,201.00 per year
