Job description
Efficiently and accurately receive and care for merchandise, primarily plant material. Assist loading customer vehicles as directed. Assist in the maintenance of plant material, including plant care and merchandising.
Job Summary
Essential Functions:
Participate in customer service tasks following established processes and procedures.
o Participate in the loading purchased merchandise into customer vehicles.
o Participate in the pulling of material for pick-up and delivery.
Assist in the receiving of merchandise following established processes and procedures.
Assist in the maintenance of plant material inventory following established processes and procedures.
o Includes plant care, spacing of material, signage, etc.
Maintain, clean, and organize your work areas and the general greenhouse and tropical areas according to documented processes and procedures.
Safely operate relevant equipment, such as electric carts.
Provide customer service.
o Cheerfully greet customers.
o Assist customers by helping, answering questions, and directing them.
Qualifications
· Attention to detail
· Able to juggle multiple tasks
· Ability to verbally communicate effectively in English
Position Preferences
· High school degree or equivalent
Work Requirements
· Near-constant physical activity required, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, squeezing, and grasping.
· Must be able to consistently lift 25-40 lbs. independently and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to push/pull wheeled carts of 400 lbs. consistently.

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
