About us

Branded Rock Canyon Ranch is a small private business located 25 minutes north of De Beque, CO. We are a 15,000 acre private guest ranch offering world class luxury accommodations and superb western hospitality for our guests. The ranch is a popular destination for corporate and private group retreats. Our activity program includes precision shooting and hunting courses, fishing, 4x4 touring, horseback riding, wingshooting, and other outdoor activities. Typical group sizes are 15-30 guests, averaging 4 nights. The main lodge and guest house include 16 rooms, multiple common areas, fitness room, theater, commercial kitchen, and saloon. Other guest lodging includes a two-bedroom cabin and three-bedroom guest home. Several activity venues will also require routine cleaning. “Peak” busy season runs early April - end of December, with winter months reserved for smaller groups and maintenance. You will be joining a team of hard-working and fun staff members. This is a smoke-free and drug-free place of employment..

Role and Responsibilities

Primary: Head Housekeeper (Hospitality department)

• Provide professional-quality cleaning of main areas, guest rooms, and other ranch venues/facilities.
• Provide daily laundry service to guests and owners as needed
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Inspect guest facilities to ensure all equipment is in proper working order, and notify management of repairs needed.
• Oversee and assign duties to seasonal staff who are assisting with housekeeping services
• Organize and maintain order of all common guest areas, housekeeping facilities, and laundry areas.
• Be courteous, friendly, and helpful to all guests, customers, and fellow employees.
• Be a professional example of the ranch to the public and client, both while on the job and on personal time.
• Other duties as required/requested by Ranch management or Owners, which may include assisting with landscaping, painting, or other outside duties to ensure proper maintenance of guest lodging structures and general grounds.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proof of USA citizenship. If you are not a citizen of the USA, you must provide proof of Green Card or work VISA.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation suitable for remote area roads and weather conditions.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
• Must be physically fit and able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, and sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time. You will be required to access many areas by stairs, while carrying supplies.
• Email address for receiving staff scheduling and other company information.
• Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts. This position does not allow for any remote work.
• Self-motivated and responsible individual who can complete tasks or make decisions without constant supervision.
• Must be able to take directives from female or male managers and owners, and carry out projects with minimal supervision.
• Be able to work well with and maintain professionalism with other staff team members or ranch contractors.
• Attention to detail
• Personable and friendly to ranch guests (“people skills”).
