The Head of Housekeeping role is a fundamental role in our homes in creating a caring and family environment so our residents can enjoy a happy and comfortable life.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure an excellent environment is provided for our residents at all times
• Clean all areas of the home
• Ensure a hazard free environment
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises
• Assist with stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries
• Advise the housekeeper or responsible officer when consumables need to be restocked
• Assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and hygiene is maintained
• Assist with the preparation of the lounge, dining room or other communal areas
• Disposal of refuse/waste
• Assist with the organisation of resident clothing for laundry
• Accident reports
